Camille Baba joined our Cathedral family in 2006 and has served as the Cathedral Youth Director since that time. He was born and raised in Houston, TX and studied at the University of Houston where he received his B.A. in Finance. He continued his studies in Boston at Holy Cross Orthodox Seminary and received his Master of Divinity degree in May 2006.
Camille has been working with the youth of our diocese and archdiocese for the past several years. He served as a counselor at the Antiochian Village in 2000, and since 2001, the beginning of Camp St. Raphael (YABOY!), he has been on the CSR staff every year but once. Having been involved with the camp, it wasn't a difficult task for our children to get to know their new Youth Director.

The transition from Father James to Camille as the Youth Director could be likened to the back-up quarterback of Joe Montana of the San Francisco 49ers. Joe won some Superbowls for his team, but hey ... so did Steve Young. :)
